Personal data that we process
HBK processes the personal data obtained:
- via the Stichting Brandwonden and the Belgian burn centers in connection with financial interventions for burn patients
- through gifts, grants and donations
- by registering via the website
- by registering for promotions organized by HBK
- of the personal data that you have provided to us by letter, e-mail or telephone.
This data is processed and managed in a separate database. Through this database, newsletters and relevant information are sent out. By using the received newsletter, you have the option to take action if you no longer wish to receive further newsletters. Your data will then be automatically deleted.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
HBK processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Payment handling
- Send newsletter
- Telephone or email contact
- Intervention for medical purposes at the request of the patient or his/her parents or guardian
- Register for an event
- Transfer of donations
- Collection of membership fees

HBK is committed to not retaining your data longer than necessary for our services within the purpose for which we collected it.
