Our fire safety team headed to the Vosberg School in Rumst for the second time, full of enthusiasm.
There, the children learnt about the different types of burns and their causes, the fire triangle, escape plans and smoke alarms at home, and more.
Afterwards, all 106 pupils had the chance to experience what it feels like to be in a smoke-filled room and learnt how to find their way to the exit effectively. Even the 5-year-olds were introduced to the smoke chamber – an exciting experience they are unlikely to forget in a hurry.
