At GBS De Bosmier in Balen, we had the opportunity to deliver our fire and burn prevention lessons to 131 enthusiastic pupils. Afterwards, they were introduced to our mobile smoke chamber and were given some tips on how to efficiently evacuate a smoke-filled room or building.
It was also a fascinating experience for the 22 K3 nursery pupils to explore the smoke chamber.
Afterwards, we received the following email from the headteacher:
“I would like to thank the whole team for the highly informative lessons and the experience with the smoke chamber. The children and teachers were enthusiastic.
A big round of applause to all the volunteers at Help Brandwonden Kids.”
